Workshop Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 11/30/2025

Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

By purchasing access to the End of Year Workshop (the “Workshop”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). These Terms govern your participation in the Workshop and your interactions with Tax Sherpa, including communications delivered via email, SMS/MMS text messaging, voice calls, automated systems, and AI-powered technologies. Please read them carefully.

2. Purchase Agreement

When you purchase access to the Workshop, you are granted a limited, non-transferable license to attend the live session and access related materials such as recordings, transcripts, templates, and supplemental resources provided by Tax Sherpa. Redistribution or resale is prohibited.

3. Communications Consent

By purchasing the Workshop or providing contact information, you provide affirmative, express consent for Tax Sherpa to communicate with you using any of the following methods:

3.1 Email Communications

You agree to receive emails related to the Workshop, including confirmations, reminders, updates, marketing messages, and promotional offers.

3.2 SMS/MMS Text Messages

If you provide a mobile number, you consent to receive SMS/MMS messages that may include Workshop information, support messages, marketing communications, and promotional content. Message and data rates may apply.

3.3 Voice Calls & Voicemail

You consent to receive phone calls from Tax Sherpa, including automated or AI-assisted calls, prerecorded voice messages, and ringless voicemails, to any number you provide.

3.4 AI-Generated or AI-Delivered Communications

You acknowledge and agree that messages or calls may be created, managed, or delivered by artificial intelligence systems for efficiency, personalization, or support purposes.

3.5 Legal Compliance — Texas SB 140 and Similar Laws

If you are a resident of Texas—or any jurisdiction that enacts similar regulations—you acknowledge and consent to communications that comply with the requirements of Texas SB 140, which restricts certain types of text messaging and automated outreach.

By providing your mobile number, you:

* Affirm that the number belongs to you

* Authorize Tax Sherpa to send messages permissible under SB 140

* Understand that certain marketing messages may require additional consent or may not be sent if prohibited by law

Tax Sherpa reserves the right to implement geographic filtering, double-opt-in processes, or other compliance measures as laws evolve.

3.6 Opt-Out Instructions

You may withdraw consent at any time by following instructions in the communication or contacting us directly.

* Email: Click “unsubscribe”

* SMS: Reply “STOP”

* Voice: Request removal via call or email

* General: Contact office@taxsherpa.com

Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent us from sending transactional or legally-required communications.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a satisfaction guarantee. If you attend the Workshop and believe it did not deliver the promised knowledge or tools, you may request a full refund within seven (7) days after the Workshop concludes. Email office@taxsherpa.com with your order information and refund request.

5. Intellectual Property

All Workshop materials—including videos, slides, worksheets, transcripts, templates, and related documents—are the exclusive intellectual property of Tax Sherpa. You may use them for personal or business purposes but may not copy, distribute, modify, or share them without explicit written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Tax Sherpa is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to your participation in the Workshop, whether based on contract, tort, or other legal theory—even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tax Sherpa is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms must be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction.

8. Compliance with Local Laws

You are responsible for ensuring your participation and use of Workshop materials complies with all laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Tax Sherpa makes no guarantees regarding local legality or regulatory requirements applicable to you personally.

9. Changes to These Terms

Tax Sherpa may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will appear on our website with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued participation after changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
